- We use only 100% natural whole grain oats in our muffins. Why? Whole oats may reduce the risk of certain cancers, high blood pressure, and Type 2 diabetes. It may also help lower cholesterol, and helps control your weight.
- Sweetened with real fruit and organic agavé nectar (a natural sweetner that is low on the glycemic index.) No refined sugar or artificial sweeteners.
- Our recipes include chia seed which is packed with vitamins and antioxidants, and is higher than flax in dietary fiber, protein, and Omega-3's. Studies also indicate that chia can help control blood sugar because it slows down how fast our bodies convert carbohydrates into simple sugars.
